1. Who we are
KidsHome is provided by Trade2Teach Ltd, trading as KidsHome, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17438407) ("we", "us"). When you use KidsHome, your contract is with Trade2Teach Ltd. Contact: hello@kidshome.app.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or continuing to use KidsHome you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over and the parent or carer responsible for any child you add.
3. The service
KidsHome helps parents record home-education learning, keep photos and videos, and create draft reports. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide official assessments, and it is not endorsed or approved by any Local Authority.
4. Your account
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping the information you give us accurate.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use KidsHome for anything unlawful, or to upload content you have no right to share;
- commit fraud, send spam or impersonate anyone;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- interfere with the security of the service, including uploading malware, probing for weaknesses or scraping;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service, or get around its technical limits.
6. Your content
You own the records, photos and videos you add. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide KidsHome to you. You are responsible for having permission to upload what you add.
7. AI-assisted reports
Reports are drafts written by AI from your records. They may contain mistakes, so check every sentence before using or sharing one. They are not professional, educational or legal advice. You are responsible for what you enter and how you use the output. You must not use the feature to create unlawful, hateful or misleading content, or to try to bypass its safeguards. We may filter or refuse outputs, remove content, and suspend accounts that misuse it. If you believe content breaks your rights, email us and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeat infringement may lead to account closure.
8. Our intellectual property
We own KidsHome and all its software, design, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active.
9. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, tax and cancellation are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Plans are £14.99 a month or £99.99 a year, with a 14-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund policy.
10. Availability
We work hard to keep KidsHome running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close your access if you seriously break these terms, don't pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly break our policies. You can close your account at any time. When an account is closed we will delete your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it; please download anything you need first.
12. Liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
13. Other terms
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer our rights in a sale or merger of our business. We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring claims in your local courts.
